These terms apply to the use of this website and to flooring supplied or fitted by FloorQ. Please read them before booking work with us.

Using this website

The content on this site is provided for general information. Product descriptions, photographs and indicative timescales are illustrative — the exact specification for your job will be confirmed in your written quote. We may update this site at any time without notice.

All text, images, logos and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our written consent.

Quotes

• Quotes are free and carry no obligation.
• A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued unless we state otherwise.
• Quotes are based on the measurements and condition of the subfloor as found at survey. If additional work is needed once flooring is lifted, we will tell you and agree any change in price before continuing.

Booking and payment

• Your booking is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and any deposit has been received.
• A deposit may be required to cover materials ordered specifically for your job.
• The balance is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancellation

Where you book as a consumer away from our premises, you have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have asked us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for what has already been done or for materials cut to size for your job.

Once fitting has been booked in, please give us as much notice as possible if you need to move the date.

Access and preparation

Please make sure rooms are clear and accessible on the day, and that power and water are available. We will move reasonable amounts of furniture where agreed in advance, but we are not able to disconnect gas appliances or plumbed-in units.

Our work

We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Fitting is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 12 months from completion. Materials carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, which we will pass on to you.

Natural materials such as wood vary in grain and shade, and small variation between samples and delivered stock is normal rather than a defect.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
